Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Team Availability Sync Google Workspace Add-on ("the Add-on"). By installing, accessing, or using the Add-on, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing or using Team Availability Sync, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Add-on.
2. Description of Service
Team Availability Sync is a Google Workspace Add-on designed to automatically synchronize Out-of-Office events from your personal calendar to selected team calendars. The Add-on identifies events with keywords such as "OOO," "Out of Office," "Vacation," or "Leave" in the title or description and creates corresponding events in team calendars you select.
3. Google Workspace Integration
3.1 Authorization
To use Team Availability Sync, you must authorize the Add-on to access certain data in your Google Workspace account as described in our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the authority to grant these permissions for your Google Workspace account.
3.2 Google Terms
Your use of Google Workspace services in connection with the Add-on is subject to Google's applicable terms of service. These Terms are in addition to, and do not replace, Google's terms.
4. User Responsibilities
4.1 Accurate Information
You are responsible for ensuring that the information in your calendar events is accurate and appropriate for sharing with team calendars.
4.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google Workspace account and for all activities that occur under your account.
4.3 Compliance with Laws
You agree to use the Add-on in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Google policies.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 Ownership
Team Availability Sync and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
5.2 License
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Add-on for your personal or internal business purposes.
6. Limitations and Restrictions
You agree not to:
- Use the Add-on in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation
- Attempt to interfere with, compromise the system integrity or security, or decipher any transmissions to or from the servers running the Add-on
- Use the Add-on to send automated queries to any website or to send any unsolicited commercial email
- Impersonate or attempt to impersonate us, our employees, another user, or any other person or entity
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Add-on
- Use the Add-on in a manner that could disable, overburden, damage, or impair the Add-on or interfere with any other party's use of the Add-on
7. Disclaimers
7.1 "As Is" and "As Available"
THE ADD-ON IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
7.2 Service Reliability
We do not warrant that the Add-on will function without interruption or errors. The Add-on may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or system or network failures.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF USE, DATA, OR PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH THE USE OR PERFORMANCE OF THE ADD-ON.
9. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including, without limitation, reasonable attorney's fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Add-on or your violation of these Terms.
10. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. The most current version will be posted on our website. By continuing to access or use the Add-on after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Add-on immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Add-on will immediately cease.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
13. Severability
